Veronika Mitterwallner erforscht die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Natursport und der Umwelt. Ein thematischer Fokus ist dabei die Untersuchung von räumlichen und zeitlichen Aktivitätsmustern von Mensch und Tier in Bergökosystemen und wie diese interagieren.
