Mathias Bellinghausen

Professor of prevention and health literacy at the HAM – University of Applied Management

Mathias Bellinghausen is Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Sport Management and program leader of the master's degree program “Sport Management with a focus on CSR and sustainability in sport”. He is chairman of the board of the Society for Prevention (NGO) as well as a member or scientific advisor/advisory board of various committees such as the Offensive Mittelstand/INQA, the German Society for Digital Health Applications e.V., the German Sports and Prevention Network, the Innovation Network Ruhr/Sport, the Children's Environmental Academy, Klasse in Sport e.V. or jury member of the “Health Academic Awards” or “Top Brand Corporate Health”.
Since 2011, he has been advising foundations, non-profit organizations and companies in developing strategie for health promotion or sustainability projects. He is also involved in various educational programs and prevention concepts regarding health, inclusion, development cooperation and CSR/sustainability (ESG). As a special advisor to the FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation, he was responsible for the content of the international “CSR in Sport” congresses in Bad Ragaz/Switzerland and developed the “Coach for development, inclusion and peace” certificate program at the University of Liechtenstein. His focus is at present on developing and evaluating programs for the integration of sustainability goals and health equality in communal health promotion or children's and young people's health.
