Martina is a certified coonsultant of the economy for the common good and managing director of
Leocor gGmbH.
The trained bookseller previously studied publishing at the University of Technology, Economics and Culture in Leipzig and worked in bookselling and publishing for 25 years. After completing her master's degree in interdisciplinary environmental sciences, she was able to combine both expertises. First as an environmental officer at Walter de Gruyter GmbH and most recently at the Penguin Random House publishing group, where as a member of the Be Green team she took the lead in introducing cradle-to-cradle book production as well as various internal campaigns to motivate employees in a sustainability context.
In 2022, Martina, together with 6 other people from the Parents4Future environment, founded the non-profit Leocor GmbH - So that something gets moving. Leocor gGmbH works with passion to bring practical environmental and climate protection to men and women. As part of this, Leocor gGmbH organized a high-profile sustainability day for sports clubs in Munich in March 2024. We deal, among other things, with the questions of how clubs can position themselves more sustainably in both technical and social terms. We offer CO2 accounting, e-mobility and photovoltaic advice as well as certification for the economy of the common goods. We help if the biodiversity on the club premises needs to be increased and we know various methods for motivating club members.
Martina, who grew up in the mountains, has known from an early age that everything is connected and that preserving our planet should always be a priority.
