Katrin holds a PhD in sports science and has more than twelve years of experience in the scientific and practical support of national and international projects of governmental and non-governmental actors and sports organisations. From 2013 to 2023, she was a research assistant and lecturer at the German Sport University Cologne. Since 2024 she has been working at Mainlevel as a Senior Research Consultant and Topic Lead in the field of ‘Sport for Development’. Her activities in teaching, research, third-party funded projects and (university) education/ training are dedicated to the topics of sport, education, sustainable development and monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
