Research assistant at the Department of Sport Science and Sport at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg

PD Dr. Karim Abu-Omar is co-director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Physical Activity and Public Health and coordinator of the Physical Activity and Health Master's programme. His research focuses on approaches and policies to promote physical activity. In this context, he also deals with the influence of global challenges on the research field and possible synergy effects of physical activity promotion and climate protection.
