I studied sports science and business administration and then completed my doctorate in the field of sports tourism at the University of Leipzig. It has always been important to me to combine theory and practice, which is why I not only teach and research as a professor of sports management at the ISM in Berlin, but also work in practice at the Saxon Tennis Association. I research topics such as sports events, sports organisations and sports tourism, and in recent years I have increasingly focused on sustainable development.
